Russian draftee Ruslan Anitin is one of the few Russian soldiers to try to surrender to a drone. Drone footage reviewed by WSJ captured in its entirety the frantic efforts of a man trying to survive. If Anitin’s experience is any indication, Russian morale appeared to be fraying even before the recent Ukrainian counteroffensive began.
